Constitution Gathering 2

Join us for good food, drumming & singing, and help make Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw history! Constitution Gathering 2 is an opportunity to imagine a better future for yourself, your family, and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh People for generations to come. 

The in-person gathering will be held at Totem Hall and Chief Joe Mathias Centre. Dinner will be served at 5:00pm and the meeting will start at 5:45pm. We’re still planning the details, but we will likely talk about:

• What makes a person Sḵwx̱wú7mesh?
• What are your rights as a Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Person?
• What are your responsibilities as a Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Person today and to our future descendants?

By joining us and sharing your thoughts, you can help make sure our Constitution truly represents our Nation and our people. Your ideas will be used to help set down S7ulh kwis Úxwumixw (Our Way of Being a Nation).
